Molecular mechanisms of grouth, osteogenesis and osteolysis, biotherapy

Scientific objective :

-Physiopathology of rare disorders of growth and osteogenesis related to sensitivity to hormones, including growth hormone (GH), IGF1, and ghrelin are studied. Prader-Willi syndrome and Noonan syndrome are topics of the team, with study of the regulation of intracellular pathways involving PI3-kinase, GAB1 and SHP2 proteins.
-Pathophysiology of idiopathic scoliosis, cellular abnormalities associated with the activation of intracellular pathways involving Gi protein (ghrelin, lysophosphatidic acid).
- Biology of lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) in osteogenesis and bone resorption; study of the paracrine role of LPA related to the activation of its receptors, including LPA1. Involvement of lipid mediators (lysophospholipids, endocannabinoids) in biochemical and biological models, in bone biology and chronic arthritis.
- Biotherapy of chronic arthritis by the use of phosphorus dendrimers.
